KISD Names High School Number 7: Tompkins High School

  The Katy ISD Board of Trustees approved the name of the district’s newest campus, High School No. 7, after retired educator Obra D. Tompkins. Obra D. Tompkins High School is located at 4400 Falcon Landing Blvd., and is slated to open in August 2013.  It is designed to accommodate 3000 students. Tompkins High School is located near Cinco Ranch West neighborhoods, Pine Mill Ranch and Silver Ranch.
