Firethorne Real Estate Adds Tennis to it's Amenities

Firethorne Real Estate News: Firethorne adds new tennis courts!Firethorne Real Estate News: Firethorne’s new tennis coach is resident athlete/sports coach Chris Dante.  Chris did not even take up tennis until he was 30 years old.  Chris excelled in baseball, basketball, and football, as well as boxing and Taekwondo.  “But after one too many broken noses, I turned to something less brutal-tennis”, said Chris, who has helped launch Firethorne’s premiere tennis program this spring.  Firethorne now has a new Women’s Tennis League and beginner tennis clinics for their residents now in full swing.

During the summer, Coach Chris offers morning clinics for children and one evening clinic for adult beginners.  Chris also teaches private lessons.  The tennis courts are open to Firethorne residents and their invited guests.  The four fully lit hard courts, Firethorne’s newest amenities, are located adjacent to the lacrosse fields in the 1,400-acre Katy/Fulshear master-designed development.

Firethorne, located 15 miles west of Houston’s Energy Corridor, encompasses the best of big city amenities with the charm of small town living.  Firethorne is known for its devotion to nature.  Consisting of over 150 acres of parks and recreational amenities, a 12 acre lake with greenbelt, hike and bike trails, parks and playgrounds, a wildlife observation area and a natural bird habitat, Firethorne is a community rich in activities.
